As lockdown restrictions hit the world in 2020, like everyone else we had to work fast to continue to support our clients. It was vital that we did what we could to help our professional tour clients to avoid a potential tsunami of physical fitness issues – both short term and long term - which could seriously affect their career.
The only option was to take their golf fitness training online, and in some acute situations their physiotherapy consultations and treatment too.
During this time of lockdowns, hotel quarantines, covid protocols, self-isolations and travel restrictions we learned a lot about the value of remote support as part of a successful golf fitness training programme.
As a result, online golf fitness is now part of our core provision. We can now give dedicated golfers access to elite level support, built around individual needs at relatively low cost and high value.
The service can be delivered entirely online or can be supplemented with face-to-face consultation, treatment and fitness training.
It depends...
We can build the plan around your needs, so give us a call to discuss the level of support you would like. Whether you just need to get started; want a specialist programme of ongoing support, or want some adhoc oversight of your golf fitness training.
You would be supported by Rob Hobkinson, who directly supports tour professionals such as Jordan Smith, Eddie Pepperell and Tom Lewis.
Rob is a Chartered Physiotherapist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, PGA Professional and Member of the UK Strength and Conditioning Association.
Don’t just take our word for it. This is what Twitter Legend and European Tour Golfer Eddie Pepperell says about why he chooses Rob:
“Rob is exceptionally professional, both with regards to time management and level of care. You won’t leave until he sorted what’s wrong!
“From my perspective as a golf professional and having had back and wrist issues in my career before working with Rob, he has helped me eliminate all pain through good movement and a better understanding of what the problem actually is. Therefore, my self-diagnosis has also improved.
He is one of the best.”
