Working with Rasmus

Rob Hobkinson has worked with Rasmus Højgaard as his Physiotherapist and Fitness Trainer on the DP World Tour since May 2022. Rob is responsible for ensuring that Rasmus - and his twin brother Nicolai too - is in peak physical condition to meet the demands of both the intensive DP World Tour schedule, and the game of golf itself. Rob's remit is to maximise Rasmus' physical capabilities, giving him and his coach, Søren Hansen - a sound platform to develop his game and technique unimpeded, and then to deliver his best golf during tournament weeks.

ABOUT RASMUS

Turning pro in 2019 at just 18 years' old, Rasmus Højgaard quickly confirmed his place as one of the most promising talents in the world of golf, making the history books as the third youngest winner in the history of the European Tour - at just 18 years and 271 days old! This feat was accomplished in his third appearance on tour. Since turning pro Rasmus has clinched 4 professional wins including the 2019 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, the 2020 ISPS HANDA UK Championship and the 2021 Omega European Masters. He made history again in 2023 when he became the first Dane to win Made in Himmerland. Rasmus Højgaard's growing list of honours underscores his undeniable talent and potential within the world of professional golf.

Rasmus' 2024 campaign has started in style with two top 11 finishes and a solo second place at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship. What can we say but watch this space.
